Privacy Policy
What This Policy Covers
Rocket Eagle Financial ("we," "our," or "us") operates a connection service for California and Arizona residents seeking payday loans. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect when you use our site, who sees that data, and what control you have over it. We route loan applications to DFPI-licensed lenders (California) and state-licensed lenders (Arizona). We don't fund loans or hold banking information beyond the connection process.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you submit a loan application through our site, you provide:
- Full name, address, phone number, and email
- Social Security number or ITIN (California applicants)
- Date of birth
- Employer name, income amount, and pay frequency
- Checking account number and routing number
- Next payday date
This information goes directly to lenders in our network for the purpose of evaluating your application. We don't store banking details after the connection is made.
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit rocketeaglefinancial.com, we collect:
- IP address (used to determine state eligibility—CA or AZ)
- Browser type and device information
- Pages visited and time on site
- Referral source (how you found us)
How We Use Your Information
Primary Purpose:
Connecting you with a licensed payday lender in your state. That's the core function. Your application data is transmitted to lenders who can serve your zip code under your state's regulations.
We also use your information to:
- Verify you're in a state we serve (California or Arizona)
- Prevent duplicate applications to the same lender
- Respond to customer support inquiries
- Comply with state financial regulations
- Detect fraud or unauthorized use of our service
Who Sees Your Data
Licensed Lenders
When you submit an application, your information goes to lenders licensed by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation (DFPI) or the Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions. By submitting, you consent to this transfer. The lender uses your data to decide on your application and, if approved, to deposit funds and collect repayment.
Other Disclosures
- Legal process: If a court order, subpoena, or regulatory investigation requires it
- Fraud prevention: If we detect fraudulent applications or identity theft attempts
- Service providers: Hosting and security vendors who process data on our behalf under contract
We don't sell your personal information to marketing companies, data brokers, or anyone outside the loan connection process.
Data Security
All data transmission between your browser and our servers uses TLS encryption. Application data in transit to lender partners is encrypted. We don't retain banking details (account and routing numbers) after successfully routing your application to a lender. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply standard protections: encrypted storage, access controls, and monitoring for unauthorized access attempts.
Cookies
We use cookies for basic site functionality and analytics. No third-party advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings—the site will still work, but we won't be able to remember your state selection between visits.
Your Rights
All Users
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: Ask us to fix inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request we delete your data (we'll comply unless legal requirements prevent it)
California Residents (CCPA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you can: know what personal information we've collected and who received it, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We don't sell personal information, but you can still submit opt-out requests. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Data Retention
Application data: deleted 90 days after submission unless you have an active inquiry or dispute. Analytics data: retained in aggregate (non-identifiable) form indefinitely. Contact inquiries: retained for 1 year, then deleted.
Third-Party Sites
Once you're connected with a lender, you may interact with their website or systems directly. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We're not responsible for how lenders handle your data after the connection is made—though all lenders in our network are state-licensed and subject to their state's data protection requirements.
Policy Updates
If we change this policy in a way that affects how your data is used, we'll update the date at the top and post the revised version here. Material changes take effect 30 days after posting.
